Only down side is we won’t get as many videos of the fighting and Russian losses as we do in Ukraine.
But it sure will be fun to for us and watch the Russia collapse.

You’re the best helper the Russian propagandists could ask for.

Yeah, it sucks that general Patton was right to advocate for taking the remaining German forces to annihilate Stalins forces.
The USSR is no longer the other big kid on the block, they are a punk with some nuclear weapons that may work.

Speaking of speaking Russian- weird Zelensky didn’t speak Ukrainian dialect.

Like most Ukrainians, he speaks Russian natively.

The Russian Government appears to be turning against the ultranationalists and vice versa? Possible inflection point?

""Discrediting" the army can currently be punished by up to five years in prison, while spreading knowingly false information about it can attract a 15-year jail sentence."
https://www.reuters.com/world/russian-law-amendments-punish-discrediting-military-including-voluntary-2023-03-01

This means that Russian propagandists could be severely punished for posting videos such as these:

Naumov (Expert at the Russian International Affairs Council): "If the goals of the Russian special operations had been achieved, there would be no need for a Chinese peace plan. Unfortunately this is happening not because everything is going great."
If the plan is what the Chinese say it is, [mimicking marching with a flag] calling progressive humanity to march behind them."
[Discussion increases pace with multiple comments.]
"And we, anong with the rest of a progressive humanity are following behind China. Does Russia deserve to play a supportive role behind the Republic of China?"
"But why can't we walk along side of China? Why can't we walk together with China?"
"Because we won't be able to move against China's political and economic interests, and will be too dependent on Beijing, unfortunately."
"Everyone depends on everyone else."
Andrey Norkin (state TV host): "According to your logic, if this program is being hosted by two hosts.."
Host2 "They cant act together, only against each other."
Norkin: "They should cause problems for each other. spit into each other's coffee, and there is no other way."
"Still one of them is more important than another. I don't know which one."
[laughter]

Normally Lavrov is a pretty cool customer in front of crowds. Notice the unconscious left hand thumb nervousness throughout, and eye blinks when the crowd laughed and he repeated "influenced" three times.

Lavrov: "You know, uh, the war, uh, which, uh, we are trying to stop, which was launched against us, using the..." [laughter from the crowd] "...The Ukrainian people, uh, of course, it influenced, influenced, influenced, policy of Russia, including the emerging policy..."
https://www.yahoo.com/news/crowd-erupts-laughter-russias-top-180331126.html

This tends to negate the comments from Dmitri Kosyrev (Asia expert) in the China video at [7:40 / 10:40]. "Right now in Delhi, Westerners have nothing to say". Apparently he didn't know Lavrov got laughed at at the conference or that 100 diplomats walked out on Lavrov's UN speech Mar 2.

Not sure if you recall military training being re-instituted in Russian 10th and 11th grades, but now the stress seem to be creeping down to Middle School level as well. This is what a Russian teacher yelled into her 15 year-old-student's face (from the gist, the kid was late to a Defender of the Fatherland Day ceremony/event?]:
https://twitter.com/Gerashchenko_en Approx 7th video down.
[0:00 / 7:30]
"I've already telephoned you mother. Why do we need a traitor? You're a traitor. Why are you late?"
[..]
[0:55 / 7:30]
"Get the hell out of here. Starting tomorrow, you can't come to the classroom. You're a traitor."
[..]
[1:40 / 7:30]
"Then when you will be a traitor, they'll make a personal file and tell the class teacher to write a description. I will write that you're a bastard. Since the eighth grade since February 21, 2023"
[6:00 / 7:30]
"When they make a personal file for you and ask your class leader for a record, I'll write that you're a bastard. From 8th grade, from 21 February 2023 he became a bastard in my eyes."
"what else?"
"Tomorrow we will choose a new class, and you won't be studying here anymore."

Putin has been crystal clear in his nostalgia for the USSR.

He literally worked for the worst of the worst as far as human rights abusers: the East German Stasi.

They were monsters, and Putin loved being part of it. He and his henchmen have a clear goal: rebuilt the USSR.

Any peace that does NOT involve Russia defeat and humiliation will only be a pause in the war, because Russia will rearm and reorganize and invade again.

Putin said whoever misses the USSR has no brain.

There is no country in which the secret police devotes its time to cuddling puppies.

And America enjoys a super close friendship with the real human rights abusers who rule the Gulf dictatorships so let’s not pretend human rights mean anything. America cares about human rights but only in the context of their enemies. America’s friends can defecate on human rights all day long and still find a warm welcome in Washington.

I actually pity him. He rode up on a high high wave of global sympathy and admiration for his cause. But no human can live up to this fantasy. When he crashes, it's gonna be biblical.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHejvoRUjMM [13:20 / 30:51] I dunno. Zelensky seems pretty fun in this video? Solovyov is smiling so much.

But I can understand your jealousy. It's a level of achievement you can never hope to obtain. This is why you wish for his downfall so much, isn't it? My guess is you reflect this level of anger and frustration in your personal life as well, since you feel the need to express your emotions into an anonymous blog - hoping that you will achieve affirmation somehow?

OP here. Russia will soon be spent. Done.

Everyone knows, militarily, they do not have the supplies to keep up the fight much longer.

And they can’t make enough to keep this up. Why else would they go begging North Korea for 152mm shells, and Iran for crude drones?

The best Russian troops have all been killed. They are not even trying to train new ones, because they can’t. The recent Mobiks are mere cannon fodder.

Everyone knows Russian can’t keep this up past Spring:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2023/03/02/war-top-ukraine-spy-says-russia-out-of-military-tools/11310628002/

As for Crimea, it is a simple matter to (again) hit the Kerch Straight bridge, but drop it fully this time. Once the water is shut off again, and the narrow northern GLOCs cut, the Russians will leave on their own.

The Crim belongs to Ukraine.

Russia: get ready for your new EU/NATO neighbor: a free Ukraine.

Keep posting, dear. Never change.

I’ll change soon, when Ukraine wins this war. Very soon.

Pack your bags, Ivan. You are going home.

LOL don't forget to tell Macron:

https://consortiumnews.com/2023/02/25/western-lead...-say-ukraine-cant-win-the-war/
https://www.wsj.com/articles/natos-biggest-europea...nse-pact-with-ukraine-38966950

Western leaders privately told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that Ukraine can not win the war against Russia and that it should begin peace talks with Moscow this year in exchange for closer ties with NATO.

The private communications are at odds with public statements from Western leaders who routinely say they will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes until it achieves victory on the battlefield.

It is laughable you believe there will be some negotiation settlement where Russia keeps any part of Ukraine.

Russia will lose this war:

The only question is whether Russia collapses as a nation.

Another great example of logical pretzels:

"Russia plods along into graveyards of its own making in a losing battle where it shows no regard for human lives, including its own. Meanwhile, Ukraine is ferociously defending its territory at great human cost while also increasingly utilizing all of the tools of modern warfare, from advanced technology to superior intelligence. Russia is stuck in the 20th century while Ukraine practices a form of 21st century jujitsu, thwarting the invaders beyond the trenches while also taking advantage of Russian weaknesses."

Notice how the writer takes the fact of great casualty numbers on both sides and spins it to mean two completely different things, as if it was possible.

Let's also not forget the yawning gap of logic between "a crumbling, ill-equipped, ill-moraled, poorly supplied Russian army" and "give us ten kazillions dollars to fight it!"

Like, if their army is so bad, why didn't you win already?

In the meantime:

WASHINGTON — New intelligence reviewed by U.S. officials suggests that a pro-Ukrainian group carried out the attack on the Nord Stream pipelines last year, a step toward determining responsibility for an act of sabotage that has confounded investigators on both sides of the Atlantic for months.

U.S. officials said that they had no evidence President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine or his top lieutenants were involved in the operation, or that the perpetrators were acting at the direction of any Ukrainian government officials.

The brazen attack on the natural gas pipelines, which link Russia to Western Europe, fueled public speculation about who was to blame, from Moscow to Kyiv and London to Washington, and it has remained one of the most consequential unsolved mysteries of Russia’s year-old war in Ukraine.

Ukraine and its allies have been seen by some officials as having the most logical potential motive to attack the pipelines.
