Or maybe she doesn’t give an F about “the public” and is dressing because she feels hot / sexy / attractive in these clothes and/or Jeff Bezos likes it. Again with the framing that a woman dresses for others vs for herself and therefore must - MUST - want attention and that, in turn, justifies tearing her apart.

This. She was stunningly beautiful when she was younger, and got the hot, athletic, cool, rich guys. I'm guessing it makes Bezos feel sexy and cool to be with her. He married an intelligent, ugly woman when he was a young nerd and together they were fabulously wealthy but never hot or cool. Sanchez does sort of bring him into that "cool kids" (albeit now geriatric cool kids) orbit, and it seems like that's what he wants. Like a pp said, he's a walking midlife crisis.
