The Danielle and Lindsey situation doesn't have to be an either/or situation. I think they're both nuts.

+1. Danielle's overreaction was bizarre but Lindsay is a sociopath. And Carl's reactions reminded me of the adage that when an addict gets sober they are mentally the same age as they were when they started using. His "everybody on the house hates us; nobody is happy for us!" whining after the huge engagement party with only one person upset - and upset as she was it was because she felt like they didn't value her friendship not because she hated them. Even allowing Lindsay to dictate his friendships with May and Danielle - it's all teenager boy behavior.

I've always liked Carl and I'm very happy he's remained committed to his sobriety. Having said that, it always feels like he's doing whatever he needs to do to stay away from the wrath of Lindsey. I don't see how that's going to be maintainable for a marriage.

I can't wait for the reunion.

When Paige and Ciara were on WWHL, they completely trashed the Charleston lifestyle. Paige will not be moving down there.

I also think May and Oliver were over for a while.. there was zero affection between the two of them.

And does anyone else think Danielle's boyfriend has an alcohol or drug problem? He is so much thinner and burning the candle at both ends it seems.. also some weird slurred speech and shakiness in a few episodes.

100% They were over before the show started. They just had an agreement for him to not be obvious because she wanted the BF for the storyline.

And the sad thing is that the really interesting storyline was not her relationship with Oliver. That was pretty boring.

The juicy storyline is why Lindsey essentially banned Carl from interacting with Mya at all. Carl and Mya had a solid friendship and Lindsey nixed that completely - and not just because the two of them both used to smoke weed together. I think Lindsey is super controlling with her men.

What solid relationship? They talked a few times on Season 6 and smoked some joints. They weren’t close and didn’t hang out after the show ended. Carl has said they didn’t have the relationship that Mya pretended they have.

Mya is terrible tv and had 2 fake storylines (Carl and Oliver). Both bombed. She won’t be back.

The only people that should be back is Sam and Gabby. Maybe Ciara if she’s willing to stop being a bed bug. She finally showed some promise this season.

With regards to Paige and Craig. Did you think she was insensitive to his feelings, when she laughed at him with her friends? That does not bode well, to me for her loyalty to him. He is a sensitive guy and she seems like she will never support him in the way that he needs/wants.

The way Karl reacted at his engagement party, I fear for his sobriety. He seems way too fragile. He let Danielle's (self-centered) reaction ruin their whole engagement celebration. I wonder why the children in his family are so fragile. Something went wrong for them along the way.

Amanda is way too thin. Her estrogen might kick in if she ate something with fat in it.

Paige really loves Craig and he knows that. He needs someone like her, who won't allow him to wallow in his feelings and let them paralyze him. She supports and defends him. I fully agree with her not moving to Charleston away from her parents. She has a strong bond with them and that should continue. As someone who moved for a man, I don't recommend it, unless the guy will make compromises. Mine decidedly will NOT and I'm consistently lonely and isolated. The kid years were so hard. Paige, stand your ground, girl!!

Danielle is being totally ridiculous about not being told about the engagement. She is so ridiculous it’s not funny. Be disappointed than get over it. She’s so out of control because it’s not her. She made it hard for all the others to be happy for them. You need help Danielle

I don't know how long everyone has been watching, but in early seasons many people thought Carl was gay and closeted.

I think this may be true, especially as I watch him continually emote on the show. I think there is something deep inside Carl that he struggles with. It would explain so much.

His relationship with Lindsay is not organic. It seems very forced.
