Infertility Support and Discussion
If you ovulate in the evening will your BBT definitely be raised by the next morning, or can it take an additional day to go up?
I believe I've read that it can take 12 hours
If you ovulate in the evening or at night, your temperature should show a noticeable shift up.
Mine always jumps right up the next day, but I think some people can have a slow rise over 2 days.
OP here. Interesting. The RE's office says I ovulated Friday....but Saturday my temperature dipped and then went up Sunday. Do you think the doctor's office is wrong?
I would go by your temperature. Sometimes LH surge occurs, but the ovulation doesn't happen according to the 24-48 hour schedule.
