Modern homes in Maryland? Are there any?

We are looking in Maryland and really have no interest in Colonials. Is it possible to find new modern homes? Are there any builders that do this? Help please.

Modern means different things to different people, but in my experience, this area is pretty conservative, architecturally. Consider that the modern/contemporary furniture resources that now exist in this area weren't here 8-10 years ago. So it would make sense that builders are lagging behind.
