Do DC residents qualify for In-State tuition in every state?

I had heard that somewhere, I think. The difference is incredible. UCLA is like $33,000 for out of state students, and $11,000 for in state students.

I've heard this too. I don't have any real info though.

Here is a list of participating institutions:

You do not actually get in-state tuition. DC will pay $10,000 per year towards tuition at participating schools. At some schools, this might be the equivalent of the cost of in state tuition.

Yeah, so building on what 9:11 said, at a school like U. Va., or U. Michigan, your out-of-state student is still going to be on the hook for $20,000 a year, because those schools really stick it to out-of-state kids. (cash cows; recession!)

Certain other fine state schools, like Wisconsin and Minnesota, will be a better value with the ~$10,000 voucher.
