shootings at pentagon and other buildings

Clearly there is a person on the loose who is carrying these out. Is this something that people should be worried about? I'm thinking no, because they are all in the middle of the night and whoever it is does not seem to be trying to hurt anyone, but it gives me a nagging bad feeling to know that someone is going around the DC area doing this kind of thing.

Kind of like the DC sniper but targeting military buildings instead of random people.

As someone who works at the Pentagon and walks across South Parking everyday, a sniper taking shots has been my biggest fear for years - basically since we moved back to the area during all the DC sniper shootings.

I know the LEOs say they believe it's a guy who is just disgruntled with the Marine Corps, who clearly doesn't want to hurt people (b/c he's shooting at night).

But I get a bad feeling about it. I think of Ft. Hood and a couple of other military installation shootings in recent years and I worry that the 5 shootings so far have just been practice.

It's very scary. I don't have anything to do with the military and still find it unnerving. I hope they catch him / them.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. But aren't both the Marines and the Coast Guard somehow components of the Navy?

19:52 Poster here - Coast is part of Homeland security now. Last article I read stated the FBI thought he may have shot at the Coast Guard station to throw them off after it was published that they believed it was someone with an issue with the Marines.
