I think she was just under 50/50 on the people she endorsed. And WTH happened with Alaska? I guess the results are not final yet, but it appears that her heavily endorsed tea-party candidate, the Republican nominee no less, got beat by a [i]write-in[u] Murkowski. It's pretty scary that the people who know her best told her "thanks but no thanks". |
Not really a Palin supporter, but by all accounts, she was not a bust. 30 of the 48 House candidates she supported were elected. But more than that she helped keep the Tea Party in the spotlight. |
That conveniently skips all of the endorsed candidates who did not even make it through the primary. Her real record is 50/50, and that includes the 11th hour endorsements she made of candidates who were already assured of victory. |
Bugs me that somehow her endorsements are accounted for on every TV punditry show. This just gives her endorsements (busted or not) weight she doesn't deserve. I don't hear anything about any frmr president, how did their endorsements do? We should keep score.

No way a fan either, but honestly can't call her a bust. She was effective in getting a lot of candidates elected, thus why there is now a red state majority. My fear is that O'Donnell will also take the same route. They can;t get elected, but are very effective at rallying voters around other candidates and can make a nice caeer from TV engagements. |
Palin's PAC "Take Back the 20" was quite successful. She targeted 20 Congressional districts and the candidates that she endorsed won in 18 of elections.
