Anyone use skype?

How easy is it to set up? I have a fairly new laptop with a built in camera so it should have the capacity. How difficult is it to use?

Soooo easy. We just used it for the first time a few weeks ago when my husband was on travel in Europe. It was great.

Been using it for five or six years now. Very easy to use.

I have Skype in numbers in DC, UK and HK, along with a dedicated Skype wifi handset. Allows friends of mine to call local numbers and it rings wherever I am located. Also have it running on my iPhone so sometimes when someone calls my DC number it will ring on my iPhone in Hong Kong or wherever. Quite convenient. I use it frequently when traveling to save on long distance charges (which can be ridiculous when roaming overseas).

Give it a try. You don't need all the bells and whistles to start.

super easy..we skype the grandparents nightly...it's awesome!!!! and if it's easy enough for the grandparents to use you know it's easy.

I have a word of warning....do NOT put your status on "Skype Me" unless you are ready to have online sex. I accidentally put this as my status and my skype phone was ringing off the hook with perverts.
