Infertility Support and Discussion
I am trying to decide between cycling at Shady Grove and Dominion. I have Stage IV endo and from looking back at previous posts it appears that NC-IVF may be the way to go. I did poorly on a stimulated cycle at another clinic. It appears both clinics require a Mock Transfer. If I had one done in the last year, will either clinic accept it?
Unfortunately, you will need another mock transfer done regardless of the clinic you choose. Each clinic likes to do their own mock transfer to make sure there are no issues or surprises with your cervix that could impact transfer.
Agree. Wherever you decide to go will do it.
I have stage 3 endo and did a disastrous stimulated cycle at SG and I'm at Dominion Fertility now and they insisted on doing a mock transfer. The procedure wasn't bad and we are in our 2 ww post natural cycle IVF.
from my understanding natural cycle IVF has very, very low success rates. After all we you could become pregnant naturally without stimulation, wouldn't we be pregnant by now?
Original poster here, not only our we dealing with endo, we are also dealing with male factor. I've done every vitamin cancoction known to man and every month I still wonder if it's my crappy eggs or crappy sperm that keeps it from happening naturally. I already had a lap to temporarily remove endo. My previous RE didn't do anything to treat my husband's problems. At least natural cycle eliminates the problem of poor swimmers.
