looking for soft, warm throw blanket

Anonymous
I would like to nice a soft, warm throw blanket as a gift. I'm looking to spend about $50. Any recommendations? Thanks so much. Would it be better to spend $100 and call it birthday and Xmas? My friend wouldn't mind.

Actually, I got a really, really, really nice one at Marshall's a few weeks back. I think I paid about $30 for it, but the original price was over $100. The only downfall is it has to be dry cleaned.

I gave a bunch of these as Christmas gifts last year; people loved them.

Garnet Hill's cotton fleece throws are 50% off right now. I like these much better than the polyester fleece throws because they stay soft and wash easily. The polyester ones are soft at first, but then get a funky smell the more they are washed. I also like the monogram option for a gift.
