it took time for John to grow on me, but now he is my favorite. Kane is ok, Rose is pretty likable, Danni hard pass. Not a fan at all. She turns into a hater real quick as well as the other things mentioned above. Erik is cool

I stopped listening to the show on Friday when Kane was on air crying and bashing his wife. I began listening around the time Mel left and found Kane's response for her departure a tad bit bashing toward her but I kept listening anyway. Friday was it for me. How are you going to keep putting on Instagram that you are taking the high road AFTER you air nasty details to your listeners. Then make a post that you are offline for a while for privacy, yet post the next day saying you would rather have a hug. THEN the day after that say you won't waste time talking about heartless actions. The cherry on top was him calling Sam on air for her birthday and getting no answer. Not everybody has their phone glued to their hand but since his announcement on Friday of course it looks bad that he got no answer. It's very calculating what he did, and very shameful. Sam and Sophie will one day be able to find this thread online and read everything that he said on air about their mother including everything that internet trolls have been saying about her. It is a very sad situation that only needed a short and to the point message. I wish them both the best and I hope the girls continue to thrive even if their parents are not together anymore.

Agreed minus the Kane being worth listening to part... The Kane Show dynamic went out the door with Sarah and Samy and it's been a wasteland ever since IMO.

Nope, not Sarah. In fact, I'm not even particularly fond of her. The show as a whole was much more enjoyable back then though. Now everything feels so fake that I can't even suspend disbelief long enough to tolerate it most of the time.

I for one can’t stand Sarah’s voice (or Mel for that matter..they both sound so alike and very catty). I agree and find John hilarious.

Sarah and Mel sound nothing alike, especially if you have met them face to face.

Oh my gosh, Sarah's voice haunts my dreams. She just acts so catty and clearly thinks she's way better than every one else. Mel is the exact same way. Mel would get so pissy on the show whenever a joke was made about her, although they all joke around. She always seemed perfectly fine to talk shit about her boyfriend, though.

I couldn't stand listening to the Kane Show after realizing that the person I was listening to everyday was fake and pretty much an actor. It isn't real life. The only real thing they talked about were their families, but even that always was coordinated to be part of a bit. A few years ago Kane started this story with " oh Sam accidentally held down a button on the Odysey's key, and the windows rolled down!, she is a genius"... then I opened MSN and the top story was a list of car makes/models that had that feature. He could have started the bit saying that he read it somewhere, instead he tried to make it out to be a real life story. The show is almost 95% scripted. I think they all put on this "I'm a nice person and care about everyone" act, but I doubt that is how they really are. It is crazy to me that people trust what he says, when he lies about major changes on the show. When Mel left, he tried to make it out like she was needy and he couldn't be there for her because of his poor wife.... nope. Basically, he wasn't a good person and she left. The Kane Show wouldn't be as big as it is now without Sarah, Sammy, and Mel. They should be thanking them. As soon as I heard that STM was going to be on, I got super excited to hear REAL people again. I will say at first, their chemistry and show layout needed some help, but I think they finally found their groove. I like that the stories they tell are real life and the bits that they do are real as well. The Tinder bit is actually profiles locally from the area. This isn't Sarah, Mel, Sammy, or Ty by the way. Just someone who didn't like being lied to on a daily basis.

If Kane was classy he would have said something along the lines of "after trying to work things out we are separating and getting a divorce" just like every other celebrity divorce...and that's it... Listeners don't deserve to know personal details about their homelife, and Kane putting their business out there like everyone should know just goes to show where his priorities lie...as an admitted workaholic he was a radio host first, husband second... Even danni told him to stop being on SM 24/7 because he needed to spend time with his family (periscoping from home does not count as family time), but that is what he lives for...anyone that's been with the show long enough knows that about him
