Favorite seasoning for roasted pumpkin seeds?

Anonymous
I have tended to do boring pumpkin seeds - roasted with salt - and I'm looking for some suggestions to jazz them up a bit. I've got three pumpkins worth. Any suggestions? Ideas with flair and/or spice most welcome. Thank you!

We do plain old salt. How about curry?

I tossed with melted butter, worcestershire, and seasoned salt & they were very good. Allrecipes.com has a bunch of recipes that sound tasty - just search "pumpkin seeds."

OP here. Thanks! I went to Allrecipes.com and found a recipe, and now am waiting for them to come out of the oven. I did butter, garlic powder, season salt, and a small amount of chili powder. I've only ever done them with oil before, so I am curious about how they will come out with butter (nearly all the recipes called for butter).

Thanks again!

We got some spicy garlic seasoning from Peppadew at Wegman's and it made for some amazing pumpkin seeds. Tossed with olive oil and baked on low heat for about an hour and a half. I wish we had more, they went so fast!

I used Old Bay on mine this year and that turned out really good.
