bringing kids to Rally to Restore Sanity?

Anonymous
DH and I plan to go with our 2-year-old in tow. (Of course, if it looks like things are too crazy/too crowded, we'll leave.) Just wondering how many people are planning to bring kids.

We're going to bring our 2 kids (toddler and infant). Like OP said, if it's too crazy we'll just leave.

We're bringing a 7 & 3 year old... looking forward to it.

We're bringing DD who is turning 2 tomorrow.

We're bringing our 3 and 5 year olds, and will make a museum day of it if the rally is crazy.

We're bringing our 3yo

We are bringing a 1 and 3 year old. BTW I did not see that strollers are either on the permitted or forbidden list. Are you taking yours?
Anonymous
yes, taking a stroller. It's much easier to contain a 3yo if they are strapped down

We're bringing our 3.5 year old and 1.5 year old and expecting to stay way on the sidelines of the action. And making sure to set the DVR so we can actually watch the rally when we get home!

What jackasses. It's not like you're lugging your children to any memorable occasion such as an inauguration.

Some people are so desperate to feel part of a movement that they'll commit themselves to something stupid and/or destructive - just for the community spirit.

It must take a hell of a lot of personal integrity to not follow the lemmings off the cliff.

21:48, so brutal. That is all.

No, that's not all. Stupid and unable to see any view other than his or her own.

You are the reason we were laughing yesterday.

Wow, so upset that people with children want to go out and participate in a rally? Why are your panties in such a wad? So people with children can't attend according to you? I went with my 2 yr old DD and we had a blast. Had I know of your disapproval I surely would not have taken her. Or perhaps you should listen to your own words highlighted above. Tea bag much?

Did I make myself that unclear? My only disagreement with the person who called the original complaint brutal was that it was not only brutal, but stupid and narrow-minded as well. Sorry about causing misunderstanding. Tea bag not at all, except for being against taxation without representation and resenting the use of the term tea party for unrelated purposes.
