Testing Dr. Sacks Needs to Diagnore a LPD?

Anonymous
I consistently have a short, 8-11 window between ovulation and my period. To confirm a LPD, I had the necessary progesterone tests, which also came back low. My OB then said I should head to a RE, and I am scheduled with Dr. Sacks at CFA in a few weeks. Has anyone been treated by Dr. Sacks for a LPD? If so, what tests did he require before starting treatment? I'm hoping to start treatment sooner rather than later, but am concerned that there will be weeks and weeks of tests...

And by "diagnore" I meant "diagnose" and clearly need the coffee I am no longer drinking...oy!

I had the same problem and went to Dr. Sacks. He monitored a cycle and confirmed I had low progesterone. I did the clomid challenge which is supposed to see how your body reacts to fertility drugs and ended up having to stop it after two days because it gave me blurred vision. Next cycle, I did Gonal F.

He probably will monitor you for one cycle, but then jump right into treatment. He's not one to delay things. If you're concerned, just make sure you tell him you'd like to move quickly.
