help me make a playlist for my Goddaughter

My beautiful sweet wonderful little goddaughter is due December 4th and I can't wait to meet her. Her mom and I grew up together and are 10 mos apart and our babies are 9 months apart. She was pregnant when she was there while my son was being born! I want to bring a letter for her to read (later) about how excited we all are for her to enter the world and give her a CD of music that was around when she was born. But I'm not the best at these things. I was hoping for suggestions on great songs. So far I have:

Train, Hey Soul Sister
Allison Krauss, Baby Mine
Uncle Kraker, Smile

Isn't She Lovely - Stevie Wonder
One Sweet World -- Dave Matthews Band
Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles
Can't Take My Eyes off of you -- the original version that's more upbeat than the Damien Rice version...

Oh wait I just noticed you said songs around when she was born...that makes it tougher. But I love those songs above generally just for new babies.

First Day of My Life by Bright Eyes

It's about love but also works perfectly for baby love. I used it for a slideshow of my SIL's kids and it was uh-maz-ing.

I once used Microsoft Movie-Maker's "Video Wizard" feature to make a short film using footage from my DS' first Christmas. It asked me to choose a song, and not thinking it through, I picked Nick Drake's "Fly".

If I ever want to down a bottle of whiskey and weep for a few hours, I just put on that video.

I would say Daughters by John Mayer, but he disgusts me so much I can't take the song seriously any more.
