About to potty try my 2.5 year old. Any tips?

Daycare suggested we start over the 3 day weekend because she has been staying dry between potty visits. I am not prepared.

We have a climb up potty and a floor potty. We tried once closer at two but she wouldn't poop on the potty and our pediatrician told us to wait. She now poops and pees on the potty most days at least once but will also pee and poop in her diaper. I'm planning on just spending three days at home pants-less close to the potty. Any other tips? I really don't want to bribe her with candy etc. because her favorite word is MORE and she gets really worked up.

we lived in the kitchen (tile floor) with a kid potty for a weekend in underwear and gave lots of water so frequent urge to pee-- each one earned a sticker and a chocolate chip (can skip the chocolate-- at my parents she got 2 chips for poop but we never did that at our house)

Three days home and pantless sounds like the right answer to me. Don't give her underwear for at least a few weeks, that lead to big backsliding for my kids. Assuming she's made progress, loose-fitting shorts only on Monday.

I think she sounds ready, and it will probably go well. I wouldn't plan to bribe-of course a few treats are ok, but I'd keep cheerfully matter of fact about it. There will be a few accidents too and that's ok. Let us know how it went!
