Interviewing for director role (first time). Seeking advice please!

Anonymous
This would be a huge jump in title and salary (currently a senior IC with management experience) and am very interested in the market and role. Please give me your best tips and advice for nailing this process and anything else you would have wanted to know before stepping into the director level.

I’m also a senior IC. Biggest change is the people have described director level as most exhausting because it requires both managing up and down.
