Female Soccer Players Needed - June 23rd in Virginia Beach!

For all competitive female soccer players!

Our clubs 2009, 2011 and 2012 teams have qualified for DPL Nationals in Virginia Beach next week and some of our regular season players have exams/finals conflicting with match day 1. We are looking for any competitive local players to represent us through the first game of the event? we could use a couple of extra players for the 2011 and 2009 in particular!

Day 1 is the issue for us (Tuesday June 23rd), but we could include you for more games if playing in just 1 was a deal breaker!

TODAY (6/16) is the final day for rostering so we'd need to move pretty quickly!

Will any college coaches be in attendance? I have an RL player so not familiar with DPL events.

Yes! We are yet to receive the college coach link though (supposed to be coming out with the finalized schedule today). We have had multiple players connected with coaches at the DPL events...

I'll say it - this coach has been all over different forums begging for players. What kind of "nationals" begs for players (just keep that in mind if you travel down there). It would be a bit different if only focused on the local area, but this is a bit much.

Hey, stuff happens. Injuries, kids move, some families just can't afford it and/ or plan vacations long before team qualifies for nationals. Big clubs around here who qualify for nationals borrow players all the time. Not all families can spend the 3-4k for just 1 weekend if the travel includes airfare too.

Good on the coach for working hard to get a few more players to help a team out. No one likes rolling into nationals with just 1 sub on the bench.

What schools are still having exams on June 23? It sounds like this coach is just trying to upgrade.

Their club is in NC. No one is flying from NC to VB.

Who are these high schoolers taking exams on June 23?
