NVSL Teams’ Use of Swimtopia

Good evening. Are all NVSL teams using SwimTopia for time trials and meets? I can’t find our team in SwimTopia and our team hasn’t sent the results like they usually do.

Google your team name + swimtopia. It should come up. Don't search within Swimtopia.

Not all teams are using it for their internal meets. Why are you posting on a board and not just emailing your team rep?

Honestly, because I don’t want to be “that parent.” We are only in year 2.

Just ask. That isn't a terrible ask. You become that parent when you propose alternate seeding, talk trash about kids swimming and crap like that.

This is a normal question to ask. And might even be helpful if the reps think they have been clear about where to find times, but they haven’t been.

Ours just "appears" when logged into the Swimtopia app using the same login as our swim team website.

While not required, NVSL has gone to SwimTopia league wide, and teams must use it for a meets. I can’t figure out why a team would maintain their records and run meets in a different system. If your results are not appearing in SwimTopia, and they usually do, I suspect your data person does not know they need to hit a final button in SwimTopia to push the results out of meet maestro and into SwimTopia. I would definitely ask about this.
