Were drinks sweeter before? McDonald’s Iced Coffee and Frappucinos from Starbucks

It has been years since I had either and this weekend I decided why not. Both the iced coffee and Frappuccino seemed to not be sweetened.
Is it me? I remember sweet iced coffee from McDonald’s in particular years ago. I could have sworn the same for Frappuccino’s. I believe it also used to be Haselnut flavor. This one was Caramel. Well, both were Caramel. |

Frapps from Starbucks were always laden with sugar.
McDs ice coffee has never been terribly sweet. |
