Who watches our internet activity and cell phone activity/searches?
Tell me how gullible I am because part of me wants to believe this internet joke/myth could be true … then part of me realizes how unrealistic that would be. 😆 |
| No. If we were all under constant attentive surveillance, how would crimes go unsolved? |
|
No. There are no resources for that.

| Yes. I am saying hi to mine on this thread right now! Hi Kash! |
| My late brother worked as a painter back in the early 90's. His company had government contracts. They had a month long job in an FBI building. Soon after, my brother roved around the town in an official FBI cap. RIP, bro. |
So maybe stepping away from far left/chinese bot propaganda would be a good healthy thing. |
| Yes, it's totally true. 100%. Yep. |

Short answer: no, you're nuts OP.
Longer answer, using elementary logic and math: Let's assume the agents monitoring us work 8 hours each day, 20 days per month, and spend 5 minutes per month on each of us. That means each agent can have a caseload of 1920 - to make the math easy, let's round up to 2000. The US population is estimated to be around 342,680,000, and 61%, or 209,034,800, are adults between the ages of 18 and 65. That would require approximately 104,000 agents who do nothing more than monitor their fellow citizens. That's about 10x as many special agents are are currently employed by the FBI. Conclusion: no, you're nuts OP. Real answer: With the increasing sophistication of AI, you'd be crazy not to assume that you're not being monitored in some way, and it's only going to get worse. |
