I love the size of my iPhone 12 mini but I need to replace it. What newer version is the closest in size and weight?
I have an 11 that's started a slow death. They have a lightweight iPhone that I want to get. These things are way too heavy for my delicate tiny wrists!
There isn't one that small. I have a 12 mini and hope it lasts forever...
I have an 11 and apparently it can’t upgrade much longer so I’ll replace it this Fall with a Pro.
I have the same. Love the size. Battery depletes really fast. Anyone ever get it replaced? Wonder if it’s worth it.
So do I! Battery max is like in the 70% range now. I held on to my SE forever for the same reason, size that fit my hand.
I've gotten batteries replaced a couple times on my phone before replacing. |
I had to upgrade and got a 16 it is pretty heavy, but the size still fits in my pocket
OP here. Were the smaller sized phones just too unpopular to make more? I hate the weight and size of newer ones.
Just get a new battery. Otherwise, the Iphone Air exists and might work for you.
Check the iPhone SE 3 and the iPhone Air.
I had DW's battery replaced at the Apple store two years ago. However, she closed the phone in a door this year, so she got an iPhone 14. It's 0.5" longer and 0.3" wider. Battery life is better, but I assume the new phone is almost entirely battery. |
I had exactly this dilemma, and ultimately just had to bite the bullet and get a 17 pro. You do get used to the size eventually, the better cameras are some compensation, and I actually liked the textured case i got with it. The screen feels more robust too. So, I feel you but it will be ok
I’m holding on to my mini too, I love it and hope they reintroduce a new mini version again. I did go to the Apple Store to see the new phones. I held a few to see if I liked any of them. I believe it was the 17 regular size that was ok but still big.
