Police also reported an aggravated assault at Richard Montgomery High School where two suspects entered a classroom, pepper sprayed a student and punched her. The student was treated by the school nurse.

How come this incident didn't make the local news? Was a community letter distributed? RM families, are you ok with this kind of violence in the school being kept quiet and swept under the rug?

Former teacher here - there are incidents like this daily, 100%. I can recall an incident on the school bus at the last school I taught at where a student (middle school) was pepper-sprayed on the bus.

It wasn't swept under the rug - the principal sent a letter the same day as the incident and it was reported to police. That's the opposite of "being kept quiet and swept under the rug"

It looks like Richard Montgomery parents are not bothered or concerned and feel the incident isn’t a big deal.
