Jury $ taxable?

Montgomery Court gives $30 stipend for expenses Is it taxable? Will they send a a firm or do I need to remember next year. Should have donated it,!

Is it pay or is it reimbursement for travel, etc.? Usually, if it is a stipend for parking, travel, transportation, it isn't taxable. If it is a payment for serving, it is (though generally you would report but it's so low it probably isn't taxed). I am not a tax professional.

Yes, it is taxable income. Yes, if you make under a certain amount, you should keep the stub that comes with it.

Few years ago we got paid under $600 in one year and it wasn't taxable. Had it been over $600, we would have had to pay.

What kind of tax? So many Americans don't even pay income tax because they don't make enough (way more than $600) (even though they think they do).

Do you add the $30 to you income for the year ...that you pay tax on.
