Only 2 PP assignments?

My teen has a class where there have only been 2 PP assignments. He forgot to turn in one tje first week of the semester and it’s bringing his grade down 5% points which means he loses the A for the class. Aren’t they supposed to have at least 5 PPs? I think the teacher has also been out for weeks now so I’m not really clear what’s going on with this class.

Yes, you are supposed to have at least 5. Maybe email the teacher or better yet have your kid do it.

It's a special situation because the teacher has been out, which means you need to contact the counselor and the assistant principal assigned to your kid (if that's how your school works). The long term sub, whoever is supervising the class, or even another teacher who teaches the same subject, needs to come up with an alternative assignment on which your kid can be graded.

There are faults on both sides here, so be polite when emailing the counselor, teacher, sub and assistant Principal.

I would not leave this to your kid.

How can you tell which grades are AT and which are PP? In ParentVue I can see the total grade gor each category

It says it right under the assignment name on parentvue.
