Why in the world would you do this at 56?

Stairs for long term. HOA fees that increase yearly... etc...

Not a good financial decision unless you have unlimited cash.

Rent if you want to live in either of those communities

Almost every house has stairs also.

But if you think stairs might be a problem, I know a retired couple who moved into new elevator townhome community in Strathmore, and they love it.

I'm 56 and my husband is 66. We sold our house and rent a luxury apartment. May buy a vacation house, but other than that, I will happily take my 24 hour concierge and no maintenance! I'm ok with being a renter for life.
