Georgetown switch to common app

Curious how it went this year. Were results more or less the same? Do they still require all test scores be submitted? Are certain things less or more favored now?

Also what is the point of EA at Georgetown? It seems less advantageous than ED, but prohibits you from applying ED elsewhere?

This past cycle was still their old clunky terrible app.

And kept saying it would start for '26-'27. Was there any update if it will start or not for upcoming cycle?

I think it will start for new cycle. Has anyone heard of any other changes to Georgetown? They've been one of the few schools requiring you submit all sittings of all tests. I haven't heard that's changing, but maybe someone else has?

Starts this fall.

No statistical advantage to REA at Georgetown

Same Dean of Admissions admitted me (‘97) as my DC (‘25) — that was trippy!

Get ready for application numbers to explode.

Are there any other changes to their admissions? Do they still expect to see every sitting of every standardized test?
