| I do not turn my nose up at fluffy rom coms (enjoyed Off Campus) but this is drek. Charmless and chemistry-less. Can't believe Brett Goldstein co-wrote it. Just an fyi, don't waste your time. |
| It was fine for what it is. |
| It is embarrassing beyond words. The poor male protagonist, so sad... The producers apparently needed to go way down their list of preferences until they found this narrow-shouldered ugly middle eastern actor with a British accent who was willing to perform a full-on er ection at the sight of, what, JLo's fat arms. |
| I agree they have no chemistry, very stilted. |
| I enjoyed it for what is was. Yes, some parts were cringe (erection scene, birth scene) but for a light fluffy romcom, it fit the bill. |
Brett Goldstein isn't middle eastern. |
| I love Brett Goldstein but apparently he needs to stick to serial shows because this movie and the last one I saw with him both sucked despite him. |
|
I’ll probably watch it. JLO’s movies are always bad but I’ve sat through many.
|
NP It was better than most of her movies but she clearly had too much control or whoever did was focused on fawning over her as some perfect person, which is a drawback in movies. We like flawed protagonists. My big complaint was the thick makeup but the erection scene was hilarious, one of the best parts of the movie |
Seriously? Are you a 13 year old boy? I thought it was beneath JLo and not remotely funny. |
I can forgive him, he's still breaking into leading man roles. I don't think anyone who's mostly done supporting roles in TV would turn down a rom com lead. |
| I thought it was awful. Waste of my time bad…. |
Ita. |
| I appreciate seeing the ll frown lines in her forehead. Thought she’d have lots of Botox done like many her age. |
|
I saw it.
All I kept thinking to myself was how in the world is J Lo going to be 57YO next month?? Is she drinking from the fountain ⛲️ of youth daily? I mean she looks much prettier (and younger too!) then she did in her previous movies!! |
