| I think it's time to figure out why my 6 year old child (no special needs) has been acting out at home and in class. I've searched the archives and found a few names, but not much. Can anyone recommend a good child psychologist in NW DC? |

| OP, try the special needs board...Although your child doesn't have SN, many parents on that board have sought out child psychologists (for anxiety issues, CBT, etc) and may have some recommendations. |

Nancy Colletta near Politics & Prose comes highly recommended, don't think she takes insurance. Neal Horan at Gtown is also supposed to be quite good, as are Georgia Degangi and Anne Kendall.
