I think it's time to figure out why my 6 year old child (no special needs) has been acting out at home and in class. I've searched the archives and found a few names, but not much. Can anyone recommend a good child psychologist in NW DC?

OP, try the special needs board...Although your child doesn't have SN, many parents on that board have sought out child psychologists (for anxiety issues, CBT, etc) and may have some recommendations.

Nancy Colletta near Politics & Prose comes highly recommended, don't think she takes insurance. Neal Horan at Gtown is also supposed to be quite good, as are Georgia Degangi and Anne Kendall.
