Vienna Halloween Parade - will it be cancelled?

From what I hear, they will make an official decision later tonight. I don't recall it ever being cancelled, & the rain is supposed to taper off later, but it's not looking so good right now.

What do you think?

OP here. I also thought it was rain or shine, but 2 of my kids are on floats tonight, and one of the organizers for one of the floats just told me that the parade committee will be making an official decision by 6pm & then they will notify us. So I guess there are circumstances when it can be cancelled.

I know we have attended in the rain in the past, though, so I doubt they'll cancel unless it's thunder & lightning or otherwise a danger to have people on the floats.

There's a tornado watch until 8pm tonight, that may be why.

OP again. Just heard from someone on the parade committee that it is definitely ON.
