| Wow ECNL HQ actually listened and moved ECNL St Louis (girls) up to September (from December). But now will college coaches show up in the middle of their college season?! |
| They didn’t move it up - they got rid of it! ECNL St Louis is now for U13/U14 in September No college coaches needed |
| $$$ over safety... Plenty of injuries due to conditions. Key players lost for season because of terrible ECNL planning. |
| ECNL just posted the event schedule for next year. Kansas City for the big kids is now in Florida. |
ECNL is paying attention to how GA does things lol |
| Keeps getting better. Greensboro is now in Richmond. If playoffs are moved to the east coast I’ll buy and wear an ECNL hat, shirt, leggings, and charms to go on my ON shoes. |
| Florida three months in a row? Does that make sense? |
lol it was a mistake. It’s been updated back to Greensboro. |
Gives clubs some options and it's better than TN or MO or KS in December! I was always surprised that they had the January Florida event and another right after it...our club would typically only do the January event. Our club has already told us that Arizona and the January Florida event are in for next year and will be considering what 3rd event to attend for the U16/U17 groups. |
| So now the question is how ECNL or I guess club coaches are gonna handle Class of 2029 players on U15 teams when the college showcases are for U16 teams and up. |
yup the battle is on |
I just realized that. The Kansas City now the first Florida event starts at U16, was U15 this current season. The second one is U16 as well. Those sophomores on U15 getting a raw deal. |
| Sophomores are u16 in fall for 2029s |
Not all of them. With the new age group change there are going to be many sophomores on U15 teams. |
You have it backwards: U13 - mostly 7th graders U14 - mostly 8th graders U15 - mostly freshman U16 - mostly sophomores U17 - mostly juniors U18 - mostly seniors The only misalignment would be if there was an August kid who moved to a younger team |
