Only secular? Location? Elementary only?
When we looked for secular elementary <$30k within 20 minutes of Burke we came up with Pinecrest, Montessori School of Northern Virginia, and Merritt. All are slightly over $20k though. Under that was only available in a religious setting. |
| preferably kg-high school but atleast through middle through. We live in Arlington. Would like a conservative school. |
| Our Savior Lutheran School on S Taylor Street. |
What does this mean? How far are you willing to travel? |
| religious school. willing to travel 10 miles |
Then MSNV is probably out. It is Mr. Rogers level progressive. Too bad, it goes to 8th grade too. |
| Explain about MSNV please |
Montessori School of Northern Virginia. Montessori schools by definition have a progressive learning methodology. |

Strong academics under $20k with a high school? Not around here.
Heck, even Pinecrest is more than $20k for K-6. The Diocese of Arlington Catholic Schools will fit the bill, but high schools are separate. |
| Ok what about just elementary and middle schools? |
|
Westminster School is in Annandale. Elementary only I think. Curriculum is solid and old-school. They say "classical", meaning traditional in their case.
|
| Any other options? |
Not for under $20k. Beggars, choosers, etc etc. |
Religious schools, sure. Any of the catholic elementary schools should be in budget. Beyond that? No, you need $35k+ |
