For the first time ever, we have a usable backyard. It's exciting!
There are so many umbrellas out there - it's overwhelming. Any suggestions on what to stay away from, or what to use? Or a specific recommendation? We'll need something off-center probably. Like 10ft. |

We have this umbrella which is large and can rotate so easily - to move shade over the table, over the kids playing in the sand box, or rotate to block where the sun is

We bought one from room and board that I think is the Treasure Garden one. Did lots of research to get something solid- wire cutter has a write up.

Think about where/how you'll store it in the off season. If it will stay in the yard (vs garage or shed) get a cover so birds don't get inside. Don't store it flat on the ground, we ruined one that way.
Right now I have a double umbrella, Summit Living brand from Walmart, in a base I weight with sandbags. |
