Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
| Every night I am at a loss for what to feed my 2 yo twins. I find myself constantly rotating among a few things: turkey meatballs, eggs, turkey meatloaf, steak, and noodles. They are decent eaters but for some reason I always tend to make the same things. What do you make for your toddler? |

I make a lot of stews that have meat, veggies and is saucy enough to put over rice and my kids love that (2 and 3 yo).
I do that a few times a week and change up the veggies so they get variety. When Im in a rush - I make chicken nuggets, mac n cheese or noodles with meat/red sauce. If Im in even more a rush - I make a turkey/cheese sandwich or cereal. |

DD (age 3) eats whatever we eat. But if you are feeding your kids before you eat (which we did up until two-ish) you can give them leftovers of what you had the night before. We always made sure to make enough to have left overs.
Some meals that she likes are: Baked salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli stems (won't eat the crowns. . .weird kid) Roasted sweet potatoes, white potatoes, beets and onions with chicken (or pork tenderloin) and green beans Ginger, garlic and sesame encrusted Mahi Mahi with rice and baby bok choi Squash soup, potato leek soup, chicken noodle soup, lentil soup - actually any kind of soup! She also LOVES curry! I always make a non-spicy version for her. She loves both Thai yellow curry and green curry over rice. Also loves tilapia in white wine caper sauce (LOVES capers!) with some kind of pesto pasta and sauteed summer squash. For days when I don't have anything available, I'll give her some pasta with turkey meatballs and some frozen mixed vegetables, but it doesn't happen too often. I would just give them a little of whatever you're having and figure out what the will/will not eat from there. DD has always been a good/adventurous eater and has only become more picky/wary of new foods when she got closer to 3 but because she always ate whatever we were eating, she's always willing to try something once

| What are you eating? How about that? |
| Spinach and cheese ravioli with tomato sauce. Makes a bit of a change from mac and cheese or plain noodles. I just keep a bag in the freezer so it makes a quick meal. |

Ours eats what we eat (minus stuff that is too spicy or acidic, etc), just chopped up smaller.
-grilled cheese in whole wheat pita -chicken, fish, pork, beef -squash or green vegetables -ours likes curry too (especially lentil) -chick peas are a hit |
| Same things we eat. |
| My 2 year old likes tacos and spaghetti. And yogurt, always yogurt. Other than that, I try to get him to eat what we're eating, but if he refuses, oh well. |
