Everytime I eat anything, I feel like I just swallowed a watermelon. I mean, my uterus is no where near my stomach at this point so the baby isn't pushing on anything. But even eating a little bit my stomach sticks out like I'm 8 months pregnant, and I feel like I can't hold my stomach in. It's so uncomfortable. Anyone else? Is this weird that I feel this so early in my pregnancy?
Thanks in advance... |
not wierd at all, since you never know exactly where your uteris or the baby are positioned. Maybe you carry closer to your stomach that other people. But i would also mention this to your OB at your next vist, just to make sure nothing else is going on. |
I was definately the same! So bloated, I felt HUGE. not until about 5.5-6months did I feel less bloated and actually pregnant instead of plain old fat =/ |
Same for me! I'm 16 weeks and I feel like my stomach sticks out ALL over, not just a cute baby bump in the lower ab. It's especially bad after I eat. |
Yes! 16 weeks here too. I have a teeny tiny bump in the AM, and as I eat throughout the day it gets bigger and bigger. DH noticed it too! |
I'm experiencing the same thing. It's so bizarre because it looks like I'm carrying really, really high (like right under my breasts), but the baby's no where near my breasts. Ugh. |
Also, remember that even though the baby may be way down low, your growing uterus is pushing all the other stuff out of the way. You may have a lot of other stuff pressing up against your stomach right now. |
I had bloating since 6 weeks of pregnancy. I started "showing" my bloatiness by 10 weeks. Uterus still in the pelvis at that time. Lots of gas and distension. There was NOTHING I could do except to have the baby. So sorry to say but I don't think there is any treatment for this, but the good news is that it will go away after the baby ![]() |
I felt pretty bloated during the first two months, but I'm definitely showing and look much bigger by the end of the day (I'm 17 weeks, pretty petite) - but most of my friends said they felt bigger by the end of the day. |
