It’s been 16 years since I was pregnant and I’ve recently found out I am expecting. Way back then malls still were open with Motherhood and Pea in the Pod.
Are maternity clothes still a thing or do most women wear regular clothes in just a size larger or so? |

Congratulations!
I don't think you need to spend a ton on maternity clothing. High quality maternity/nursing bras are definitely worth it though. You don't mention whether you need to look professional or if you are just looking for casual items. For casual items Quince is good. I like their linen in particular. |
Thank you! All of the above! I was thinking it must just be regular stores mainly now! |
| They don’t sell a lot of it in stores TBH but I think the online selection isn’t terrible. Old Navy and Quince have fast shipping. I also also used Nuuly for rentals for both pregnancies. |

Nuuly - just rent a few pants / shorts / outfits to wear each month and send them back! You don’t want to junk up your closet with things that will fit for 3 months. The Nuuly FB group has lots of threads with recs for pregnancy.
If you work in person in a more formal work environment, I’d recommend some dresses from Uniqlo with a blazer. I’m 27 weeks and have just been wearing stretchier dresses with blazers. |
Seraphine went out of business like a year ago lol. |
