Are my neighbors decorating for Memorial Day or Fourth of July?

Both?

For the past three weeks, they have had these out on their home:

I don’t know anyone who celebrated Memorial Day with decorations so I have to ask if that’s a thing?

I mean this year is our 250th. I think a lot of people will have flags up nonstop until then.

Lots of people put these up from Memorial Day through Labor Day. I guess they did it a little early.

We always put flags out for Memorial Day and so do a lot of our neighbors. It’s a patriotic holiday to remember those who died in service to our country.

That's a 250th celebration. They'll probably hang it all summer. It's cute enough and it could be so much worse.

At least your neighbors don’t still have Halloween decorations up!

Memorial Day used to be called Decoration Day. That was about decorating military graves, but those decorations still feel in the spirit of that.

They look too festive to be solemn remembrance of those who died in the wars.
I’m guessing they are maga and think there’s something to celebrate this summer.

This website kills me sometimes. These are so common in some areas, every summer. They’re not MAGA or unique to the 250th.

If I do, I'm afraid I'll be pegged as MAGA, and I don't want that to happen.

It's a shame how this cult has appropriated the American flag, as if they were true patriots.

Memorial Day- Flag Day - Fourth of July.

It’s like putting a pumpkin on your doorstep from Sept to the end of November.
