Future teacher seeking elementary school work

Anonymous
My niece is a fresh college graduate (elementary education with special education emphasis) hoping to work in a school classroom that does inclusion.

Any particular schools between DC and Baltimore that do this especially well while also supporting younger teachers?

^^ Op here. Forgot to add schools that she is open to schools close in VA (Arlington and Alexandria).

You posted in Maryland school forum. Ask Jeff to move it so Virginia people see it.

Baltimore has the worst payscale and oldest buildings.

Better to apply to DCPS and close in suburbs schools. Howard county is almost finished hiring. Adding a second certification like ESOL/ELD, SPED or Gifted&Talemted makes her more marketable.

Personally, she will have a better experience in VA school districts.

She should apply through each school district website and then reach out directly to principals at schools she is interested in!
