My niece is a fresh college graduate (elementary education with special education emphasis) hoping to work in a school classroom that does inclusion.
Any particular schools between DC and Baltimore that do this especially well while also supporting younger teachers? |
| ^^ Op here. Forgot to add schools that she is open to schools close in VA (Arlington and Alexandria). |
| You posted in Maryland school forum. Ask Jeff to move it so Virginia people see it. |

Baltimore has the worst payscale and oldest buildings.
Better to apply to DCPS and close in suburbs schools. Howard county is almost finished hiring. Adding a second certification like ESOL/ELD, SPED or Gifted&Talemted makes her more marketable. Personally, she will have a better experience in VA school districts. |
| She should apply through each school district website and then reach out directly to principals at schools she is interested in! |
