| In my view, misogyny is a massive issue on this website. Any post that puts any boy at all in an even minority critical light is immediately accused of pushing "boy hate", but when commenters make hurtful, unfair, and even sometimes inappropriate comments about our daughters, everyone turns a blind eye. I've reported a lot of comments that have seemed especially sexist or problematic, but it's gone nowhere. |

I've removed the posts that you reported, haven't I?
|
| This is so silly. The level of man-hating on this site is also off the charts. The difference is in the willingness to use post reporting / appeals to the moderator as a debating tool. I personally think it's beneficial to let the man-hating posts stand, it kind of makes the logic or lack thereof self-evident. And it helps expose the sentiments that are really out there. |

Like it literally took me a second to find:
"Instead of shaming women for being picky, SHAME MEN FOR BEING LOSERS. " Like the threads are just dense with this stuff, you have to be blind not to see it. |
| I agree that it's misandry that's far more of a problem here than misogyny. There are some posters who feel any criticism at all of a woman has to be "misogyny" simply because of her sex. Apparently, we're not allowed to criticize a woman's bad behavior. But men? There's no limit to the truly vile comments about men on this site, whether they deserve it or not. Apparently, being a man is unforgivable all by itself. And I'm a woman, before the usual dolts jump on me for being a "sad, lonely, middle-aged loser" (i.e. a man). |
|
Turning a thread about misogyny into a thread about misandry is probably not making the point that you intended.
|
| Probably complaining to the moderator whenever someone disagrees with you is also making a different point than intended. |
NP. This has strong “I know you are but what am I” energy. LOL. |
