Graduation present for nephew

Please help me pick out a present for my nephew who just graduated from college and is moving to his first apt in NYC. What should I get him?

Is he living by himself or with roommates? If he is living alone, I would buy something small that isn't too hard to move around that both commemorates his graduation and his first apartment in this new phase of life. I small painting. A framed photo of him and your extended family. A new set of pots and pans. Nice glassware.

If you can swing it, I would also get him a gift card of some sort.

I feel like there are two categories of answers here. Do you want to make his transition easier? Then gift cards - uber eats, amazon, whatever. Do you want a meaningful gift that lasts for a long long time and reminds him that you love and support him? Then, we need more info to help you out.

This would have taken up the entirety of counter space in my first NYC apartment. Cash. Give him money.

I can't imagine doing anything except money or maybe gift cards. They are not going to want to be hauling around stuff
