The controversial blogger apologized for his mistakes in a nine-minute video posted to his social media pages. The video came just over a week after he revealed that he'd been hospitalized for 21 days for sepsis and infections — and that "God presented himself" to Hilton during the medical crisis. The media personality also expressed confidence that his sins have been forgiven. "I've made a lot of mistakes in my past, but I know that God loves me," he said. "God has forgiven me, and almost more importantly, I have forgiven myself." In his previous video announcing his hospitalization, Hilton reflected on his religious transformation. "One of the most special things about this experience is that God presented himself to me," he said last month. "It was not a feeling. God presented himself to me. And I grew up Catholic. I was baptized, had my communion, confirmed, went to Jesuit school for seven years. But I was never a believer until now." Good for Perez! |

Believing in God isn’t delusional. Telling people they must believe in God or God doesn’t exist is lying or delusional. There is a poster or several that post on every thread, no matter the topic, that god (always with the small g) doesn’t exist. That poster is lying or delusional. |

If that were the case, then saying that god(s) do exist is also "lying or delusional". He didn't say: "I believe there is a God loves me". He treats it as a fact, not a belief. Either it's all "lying and delusional" or it's not. |
