Mental Health Therapists - Fairfax Area (or virutal)- forPossible OCD / Anxiety / High functioning Autism 11 year old

Hello
My DS 10 has HFA. I would like him to see a therapist to understand his new is anxiety, and potential OCD symptoms that are popping up. Would appreciate recommendation on therapists that see children and specialize in anxiety and OCD in VA, preferably Fairfax Area, or virtual would okay too but preferably someone local - please note if they take insurance or not. |

| I have heard great things about Claire Lerner. She is located in MD but, I believe she is licensed in VA. |

| PP-forgot to mention Ross Center has a VA location, as well. I understand they have a few therapists who specialize in OCD. You may also check the therapist list on the NOCD website. |

Even if they don’t accept insurance you should be able to get reimbursed your insurance policies “out of network” rate. It’s annoying, but insurance companies don’t pay the therapists enough so the good ones don’t take insurance. |
