My wife and I would like to find an estate lawyer in NoVa, ideally Arlington/Falls Church/Tysons, to help set up some will-related legal documents. If you had a good experience with one, we would appreciate hearing your recommendation.
Our situation is pretty straightforward, no complex financial circumstances, $4.5M in investment assets (and we both have life insurance FWIW). We have two elementary age children: one in 4th grade and another in 7th grade. So, our most pressing concern is ensuring we have their care covered for the next 10 years. If something happens to both of us, my wife's sister would become their guardian and help manage our children's financial decisions until they graduate from college. I don't know what needs to happen legally to set up that arrangement - but I'm sure an estate lawyer can help explain. |

Why don't you ask your financial planner? They have spent the time vetting and weeding out the salespeople and the non-professionals and non fiduciaries.
Most of the estate planners are now order takers. |
