Multiple back and. Forth saw a pair earlier military looking
VIP Hegseth buds? Like Kid (elderly) Rock? Training? What gives… |
| I hopped on to see if anyone else was hearing a large amount of helicopters in Fairfax tonight (Friday). |
| Someone said they're ghetto birds. City of Alexandria has them circling all the time. |
| Hearing nothing in Bethesda. |
Ghetto birds are police helicopters. Alexandria PD doesn’t have one. In emergencies they call on FFX PD to use their chopper for them. But it doesn’t happen very frequently because it’s $2,700/hr for the aircraft, fuel, and crew. |
| We've had a ton in Vienna (near Tysons) in the last week. Normally we have what we assume are military helicopters every Tuesday around 9 or 10, but this was several nights this week and several passes. |
I noticed two passes (maybe same helicopter, Idk) in Fairfax on Saturday afternoon. |
| They are circling city of Alexandria right now non stop |
|
I started a similar thread about Bethesda a couple of hours ago.
From the category of copters used, it think it could be either military having urgent nightime meetings, or heightened state of alert (or practice for same) in our capital. |
| Practice for the birthday? |
| This is when you know that people online have gone crazy. When they demand to know the purpose for every aircraft they see in the sky in an area of the country that probably has the most helicopter traffic. There has to be a few of these posts a week. Relax, Karen, they aren't out to get you. |
Some people are highly interested in the comings and goings of helicopters in this area. Probably not the OP. But DC is the most intensely surveilled city on earth. If you know what I mean. Maybe you don't. That's OK. |
| Just look at flight radar 24 or something |
We are at war. I get nervous about unexplained aircraft. |
| They're circling nom stop in Alexandria. Freaking annoying noise pollution for no reason. Miserable living here. |
