I don't see why we should take lessons on small business from a Drexel guy who came from the Michael Milken era, whose expertise is Asia and whose coverage of the American business problem primarily comes down to parroting the Republican catch phrase: "Regulatory uncertainty".

I see very little evidence that small business is stopped in its tracks because of regulatory uncertainty. Small business is exempt from most big company legislation. And honestly, how many small businesses are even in industries that are getting attention?

Businesses weren't exactly job creating dynamos in the US during the tax cutting seasons between 2001 and 2008. Or maybe there was other types of uncertainty then.
