Audiobooks for school-audible or some other platform

9th grade DC is using audiobooks to correspond with assigned school work; one issue is that the chapters/pages don’t match the print copy. Is something better at this than audible?

Learning Ally. You have to show proof of a reading disability, but it has tons of books schools use (including textbooks). Your child's school may be able to provide access. But, you can also sign up on your own.

I think the Kindle version can also be read out loud (text to speech function). Is the Kindle version closer to the paper book?

We get my son (now in college) the required paper version, and then he listens to the Audible version while making notes in the paper book. He had trouble with teachers when he’d cite something and it was the “wrong” page. He was accused of cheating or making up quotations when the teacher didn’t find the quotation on the cited page. This system seems to work for him.
