Film/TV Production Schools?

Aside from USC, NYU, Chapman, and UCLA, what other schools have good film/tv production majors or programs? This is not film theory or the more abstract film analysis focus, but programs that teach practical skills for tv and film.

Thanks!

Students interested in this should look for colleges where it’s easy to take some computer science, AI and data science classes.

Jobs in film and TV production involve huge data files and complicated software programs. Film production people don’t need to do heavy coding, but they need to know a lot about how computers and the cloud work, and they probably will have to understand how to deal with AI.

In Virginia, JMU used to have a mass media program. Not sure, but likely they still do.

UTampa has a BFA in film if you want to go that route.

I have a kid at the Newhouse School at Syracuse and the TV production facilities are top notch. There are also opportunities to spend a semester in NYC or LA where you do an internship while there.
