Warning about dog walking company

Anonymous
This is about the yellow-branded dog walking company that walks a dozen dogs dogs at once on the CCT. Last week, when it was nearly 90 degrees during the day I saw one of their dog walkers leave the dogs in his yellow car for a while without even cracking open a window. First the dog walker went to the bathroom, then he took a phone call while leaning against the car with the dogs inside. I didn’t stay to see how long the dogs were in the enclosed car, but it was at least 10-15 minutes. Just sharing as a warning to others who use this company or are considering it.

My husband does this too and a little ‘helper’ like you reported him. lol. He leaves the a/c on (and the car on). Argue all you want about his stupidity but the dog isn’t being harmed and I suspect this dog walking co is doing the same.

You sound like next door loser btw

Yeah, when I got my dog years ago I got a car with a remote start so that I could put her in the car, lock it, and turn it back on with the AC running if I wanted to run into Peet's or something. After several people screaming at me that I was killing my dog, even though my car is not an EV and you could clearly hear it running, I just gave up and didn't leave her in it and never used the remote start again.

I do respect people caring about this issue though -- dying in a hot car is a horrific thing, and I'd rather have people be aware of this and do something if they can and be wrong, than one dog die under such circumstances.

NP and I agree with you. Thank you for being concerned, OP.

OP you didn't STAY to make sure those dogs weren't in their roasting to their deaths? Sounds like you don't care. Or that they were fine as others have pointed out.

You should have asked immediately-- are those dogs in AC?
