Metropolitan DC Local Politics
| What are you predicting? |
| Gerrymandering will pass fairly convincingly. |
A repeat of the governor election. |
| My 18 year old son, first time voter, voted yes. I was super surprised that this broke through to him (not at all political) and he registered to vote to go do this. I predict it will pass |
He clearly is political if he registered to vote to gerrymander. |
|
I predict it will pass.
Playing nice and “When they go low, we go high” are things of the past. |
When they go low we go high is for losers. Democrats should stop bringing knives to gunfights. |
Damn straight. |
This is pretty much it. People are just fed up. I agree it is gerrymandering but I still voted to redistrict. Eff Trump and eff playing fair anymore is the logic. He can reap what he sowed in US politics. |
| Nice of you guys to think of anyone else in the state except those from NOVA-it’s terribly unfair to the rural portions of the state who will lose all representation of their interests. |
Don't care about fairness anymore, Trump and the GOP threw it out the window so take your shame outside. Shrug. |
Cry me a river, MAGA. Looks like you’re just sore that the shoe is on the other foot. |
Well you get what you vote for... and if you voted for Trump, what is happening in response to dissatisfaction with him. |
Sort of like how it is unfair for the rural parts of the country to impose a tyranny of the minority on the rest of the country? |
| I just moved to VA from DC. If you want to complain about not being represented in congress, it falls on deaf ears for me! 😆 |
